The Asansol Durgapur Development Authority (ADDA) has proposed to set up a state-of-the-art, modern, integrated inter-state long- and short distance bus terminus on 35 acres of land in Durgapur.
Long-distance Volvo buses and SBSTC new inter-district and inter-state buses ply from the City Centre in Durgapur.
The proposed inter-state bus terminus will have an ATM, market, toilets, seating arrangements for passengers, eateries, etc.
This is part of the planned beautification of Durgapur city. An art gallery will also be set up.
The construction work on the new bus terminus is expected to be comple
ted by 2025.
