It just wasn’t meant to be! Despite another strong performance from Manu Bhaker in the final, she unfortunately missed out on securing a third Olympic medal at #Paris2024.
Bhaker, 22, missed out on capturing a hat-trick of medals in a single Games edition after shooting 28 in the eight-women final.
In the shoot-off, she was defeated by Veronika Major, the bronze medallist from Hungary.
Hungary’s Veronika Major placed third, France’s Camille Jedrzejewski took home the silver medal, and South Korea’s Jiin Yang took home the gold.
Bhaker’s two other medals were a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol individual event and a bronze in the mixed team 10m air pistol event alongside Sarabjot Singh.
