WBHIDCO has planned to build Vehicular Underpasses at 4 Major Intersections of Newtown Kolkata to ease the traffic.
Newtown currently has an underpass at Biswa Bangla Gate.
Currently there is one underpass in Narkelbagan (Biswa Bangla Gate) & 6 pedestrian subways in New Town.
New Town is set to get 4 new vehicular underpasses to streamline the traffic at the following Proposed Locations :
– Westin
– Shrachi More
– Noapara (between Chinar Park & CC2)
–Chinar Park.
