West Bengal CM MamataBanerjee paid a surprise visit to the dharna manch of the Doctor Protest outside Swasthya Bhavan, urged them to call off their seize work.

Opposition leaders like Suvendu Adhikari or CPM leaders may call her ‘Lady Hitler’, ‘Modi in white Saree’ but no CM in India will go this far to end a deadlock despite knowing very well that she can get humiliated.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee says, “I have come forward by leading the student movement, I have also struggled a lot in my life, I understand your struggle. I am not worried about my position. It rained all night yesterday, you were sitting here protesting, I was worried all night…After listening to your demands, I will study them. I do not run the government alone, I will definitely find a solution by studying your demands with senior officials. Whoever is found guilty will definitely be punished. I am asking for some time from you. The state government will not take any action against you (protesting doctors). I request you to return to work… All the work related to the development, infrastructure, security of the hospital has been started and will be done further …”
Mamata Banerjee said, “You all have suffered a lot in this inclement weather. I have come here not as a CM but as your Didi. If you give me some time I will study your demands and see what best can be done. I will not take any action against any doctor. I am with you in your fight for justice. We all want justice. CBI should close the case in 3 months. I urge you all to go back home and resume duty.”
