This captivating event depicted Goddess Durga’s triumphant victory over the demon Mahishasur, symbolizing the eternal triumph of good over evil and the enduring strength of the feminine spirit.
The cultural centerpiece of the event was a mesmerizing performance by renowned Odissi dancer, Ms. Dona Ganguly, and her troupe, Diksha Manjari. Famed for her mastery and deep passion for traditional Indian dance, Ms. Ganguly led her dancers in a visually breathtaking retelling of Durga’s epic battle with Mahishasur. Through grace, rhythm, and profound emotion, the performance transported the audience into the heart of this timeless myth.
Adding a unique dimension to the event, celebrated artist Mr. Ketan Sengupta delivered a live recital of Mahalaya, the revered invocation of Devi Durga.
