Paetongtarn ‘Ung Ing’ Shinawatra was elected on Friday as the 31st prime minister of Thailand.
She is the fourth member of the Shinawatra family to become Thailand’s prime minister, following Thaksin Shinawatra, Somchai Wongsawat (Thaksin’s brother-in-law), and Yingluck Shinawatra.
Leaders of the coalition partners held a joint press conference to announce they solidly support Pheu Thai Party leader Paetongtarn Shinawatra as new PM in tomorrow vote at the parliament.
The leaders & key figures of the coalition government parties held a joint press conference on Thursday at Shinawatra Tower 3 & reasoned that the country must move forward, despite regretting that Srettha had to be removed from office.

Paetongtarn said she had consulted with her family, & it was understandable that her mother would be concerned. Everyone respects her decision, while her father, Thaksin, has always been advising her. She stated she will tackle econom
