Vaccine group GAVI announced up to $500 million for the mpox response, while the U.S. will donate 50,000 doses to Congo to help with the outbreak declared a global emergency by the WHO.

Three patients who traveled from the UAE were detected with MPOX upon their arrival at Peshawar Airport in Pakistan, according to the Provincial Health Department.
The virus was identified at the airport, and the patients have been quarantined.
Mpox detected in wastewater from two San Francisco districts: Oceanside and southeastern San Francisco.
