The supreme court on Thursday allowed Ashish Mishra son of BJP leader and former union minister of state of Home affairs Ajay Mishra, the prime accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri killing case to visit Lakhimpur Kheri every Saturday evening to spend time with family subject to the condition that he should return to Lucknow Sunday evening.
The supreme court added that while in Lakhimpur Kheri Mishra shouldn’t participate in any public meeting or political activities and that the visit shall be private only for the family members.
A division bench comprising justice Suryakant and justice NK Singh modified mistress Bale conditions while allowing his applications. As per the earlier bail condition he couldn’t enter Lakhimpur Kheri except for attending the trial.
Senior advocate Siddharth Dave for Mishra submitted that he hasn’t seen his daughters for 4 years and that he should be allowed to spend time with his family at least 10-12 days every month.

When the bench asked why his daughters can’t come to Lucknow to meet him the way shade that Lucknow is about 200 km away and Lakhimpur has a better climate. Daave also said that the health of his mother was deteriorating.
